Every moment spent on your dreams and goals helps propel you into creating emotional fulfillment – even when the outcome is not as desired. With our dreams and goals, it is better to know first hand details of how the experience is like, through active engagement in the process, and not live a life with regret for not ever going after it.
Sometimes we do not act and actively achieve our goals because we worry too much about making the wrong moves. The worry is fueled by negative thoughts of all that can go wrong, which leads to fear. We worry so much that it leads to being immobile – completely stuck from starting or putting forth best effort. A varied degrees of negative thoughts – like “I’m not good enough” – creates a vortex of negative feelings and ultimately inactivity that arises from doubt and fear. It is painfully crippling.
Yet, there remains the inner murmuring of your unanswered desires and dreams demanding attention. It is in you; fighting for acknowledgment, to be validated and fed by your actions. If ignored, there is agitation and frustration that leads to discontent and unhappiness. The recipe for living an unfulfilled life.
Make a conscious choice to acknowledge the inner whispers of what you want – your dreams and goals – and do something. They must be fueled through positive thoughts and actions. Fuel it with positive thoughts of ability, envision it as your current reality, do whatever is necessary to experience positive feelings passions of the vision. And partner with people who can support you during the journey.
What is your dream that as gone ignored because of inactivity? You must immediately choose to do differently, and take action steps toward making it into your reality. You will not regret it!
How to actively act on your dreams and goals?
Acknowledge your specific dreams and goals – Take a quiet moment to think about what they are and write them down on paper
Set the intention to work on them – For instance, “as if today, I am actively going after my dreams and goals”
Actively change by reframing the negative thoughts that leads to the negative feelings of doubt and worry, to propel you into action – Instead of “I’m not good enough,” think “I am good enough, and more than capable.” Write down every negative thought and change it toward the positive, then substitute what you have written as the opposite when bombarded by negative thoughts. Do not beat yourself up if the negative thoughts and feeling appear. Just recognize they are there. See it as information for you to fight them and have the mindset to help create your dreams and goals.
Every day, throughout the day, think about your dreams and goals – Every evening, write down one action step you will take the next day toward your dream and goal. Asking yourself “What step, however small or big, that I can take today?”
Every day, complete actions that fits into whatever you had identified the day before – Acknowledge and applaud yourself for following through and completing it.

Whatever you do, stay focused on taking steps (even baby steps) toward it. The more you feed it, the stronger it will become – the clearer its messages and the bigger it becomes – ultimately winning the quest of emotional fulfillment.
